Dolce Vita Beauty Centre

Dolce Vita Beauty Centre came into existence in 2012, when Kym Stafford decided it was time women received the result driven pampering they deserve in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

It was always a vision of hers to have a “one stop shop” where you can go to experts in their field for various different treatments in the beauty industry and feel at home in your environment. Dolce Vita officially opened its doors in August 2012 in Greenside Johannesburg, however, due to an overwhelming response, space soon became a problem. To accommodate the growing clientele and service offering I made the decision to move to bigger premises. In 2014, the Randpark Ridge branch opened and continues to welcome new clients daily.

“From day one, Dolce Vita Beauty Centre has been an exclusively ladies only spa. I always wanted to make women feel empowered and fully comfortable, confident and safe in our environment, whether swimming or sun lounging in a bikini or just not wanting to get dressed up or wear makeup when attending their bookings.

I also have a silent partner in the business who due to religious reasons couldn’t attend spas that are unisex and she told me a few years ago it was because a woman and a man who are not married cannot be naked under the same roof and I never knew this and thought but wait how many women out there are experiencing the same problem in finding a spa to go to because of this reason. They all are missing out on the pampering they deserve and now we are one of the only ‘ladies only spas’ in Johannesburg where women can feel safe no matter religion or body insecurity.”
